Our Beers
Why we can every beer
Every Eddyline beer goes into a can. A can keeps beer the way our brewers meant it to taste.
Sealed fresh. Our counter-pressure filler flushes each can twice with CO₂ before it fills. That CO₂ comes from our own fermentations, captured and reused. Oxygen is the enemy of beer, making it go dark and stale quickly, and we do all we can to minimise contact with it.
A proper pint. Order a pint at the pub and you get 425 to 570 mL. Our 440 mL can sits right in that range, so you get a real pint at home. It is also a more efficient size for us to fill than a 330 mL can.
Kinder to the planet. Cans are light and stack tight, so each truck carries more beer for less fuel. They chill fast and fit easily in the fridge. Aluminium recycles again and again with no loss of quality, and recycled aluminium needs 95% less energy than new metal. Rinse your cans and put them in the recycling bin.
Mix your own 8, 12 or 24 cans, and we will send them fresh to your door anywhere in New Zealand.
